Herbert Addo masterminded Asante Kotoko's revival in the league as the Porcupine Warriors ended their four-match winless run at Sekondi Stadium against Eleven Wise on Sunday night.

Substitute striker Kwabena Yaro snatched the winner in a 2-1 win over the plucky home side.

AshantiGold pulled away from the drop for the first time this term after a 2-0 win over fellow relegation candidates Hasaacas at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.

Captain struck on the 10-minute mark and substitute Abdul Yusif sealed the win after 70 minutes for the Miners second straight win.

The Miners are now one point above the relegation mark.

Hearts of Oak stayed on top despite an unconvincing 2-1 victory against Tema Youth at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

Francis Bossman struck twice in match and Emmanuel Baffoe had drawn level for the Tema-based in the first half.

Kessben FC emerged 3-2 winners over Chelsea of Bechem in seesawing contest at the Anane Boateng Stadium in Abrankese.

Anim Lankwei opened the scoring for the Kessben but Nana Eshun drew level for the Bechem-side.

Kessben substitute Yofa Zigah grabbed a double, first from the spot 51st minute and third on the hour mark. Eshun got a 70th minute equalizer.

Hearts of Lion failed to pick up the maximum points at the Kpando Park by drawing one-all with Real Tamale United.

Isaac Acquaye put Lions ahead in the 31st minute but in-form striker Kabiru Imoro equalized for RTU after 55 minutes.

Berekum Arsenals retained their unbeaten home run after a solitary 1-0 win over All Stars at the Golden City Park.

Sporting Mirren stole a vital away win at the Swedru Park against Gamba All Blacks but stayed at the foot of the table.

Richard Boateng's free kick picked the points for Mirren.

King Faisal stayed second after a 1-0 win over Liberty Professionals at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Bashiru Osman was on target for Faisal on the 85th minute mark.
